Canine Good Citizen is a training program that instills basic manners into dogs and educates humans on how to be a responsible pet guardian. Benefits from getting your dog CGC certified include: 

A stronger bond with your pup

A dog who can compose themselves in large crowds, at the vet's office, and other places

Ways to prepare for the CGC test:

Register for a private training program to address specific behavior concerns

Register for a group class to refine skills around other people and dogs

The CGC test is a prerequisite for many Therapy Dogs and Service Dogs, and for some advanced dog sport classes. Send an email or give us a call if you're interested in taking the CGC test.
